Jo is an experienced Executive and she has a diverse background in leading and delivering community services in all three tiers of Government, in not for profit organisations as well as the corporate sector.
Jo is an Early Childhood Teacher, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also on the Board of Western Australian Council of Social Services.
Jo has a strong personal and professional commitment to the child and family sector, and after living and working in regional and remote settings for a period of ten years, she has a special affiliation with seeing genuine reconciliation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and the equitable provision of services regardless of postcode.
Liane has many years of experience in senior executive roles and as a non-executive company director and company secretary in the not-for-profit sector. She first worked in Government and as a consultant with two of the large Chartered Accounting firms before taking on her first management role in the not-for-profit sector where she has now gained over 30 years of rich and rewarding experience.
Liane is a professional accountant, Fellow of CPA Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Her responsibilities as CFO and Company Secretary of Wanslea Limited include financial management and leadership, governance, risk and quality, asset and property management. Liane also holds directorships at Rural Health West and the Anglican Schools Commission.
Liane's previous appointments in Senior Executive roles include twelve years as CFO at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (Western Operations), Management Accountant at Murdoch University and Director of Finance and Administration at Perth College.
Clinton has a wealth of operational experience in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors within Australia and South Africa.
His background is diverse, and includes the roles of Business Manager in Education, General Manager in Disability Employment Services, Senior Operations Manager in Early Childhood Education and Care and Regional Leader in NDIS and Community Services.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Clinton oversees all of Wanslea’s service delivery activities. He is passionate about early intervention and the provision of quality services for children, families and communities.
Georgie is a pragmatic Senior People Executive, bringing a refreshing approach in leading people and business solutions. Her career has been predominantly in the automotive, oil, gas and mining industries, only recently joining the not-for-profit space. Georgie has Board experience with strong governance acumen and holds formal qualifications in HR and Business, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an accredited mediator, an executive coach, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management WA and a Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Georgie has a particular focus on driving continuous improvement strategies, is a champion and advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and holds strong values in safety.
Georgie brings to Wanslea the ability to lead transformational projects to build strong cultures, effective strategic People and Safety initiatives to ensure workforce sustainability and she brings passion, enthusiasm and a committed energy to drive a safe and inclusive workplace.
Taylor has worked in senior management across local government, commercial and profit-for-purpose sectors for over 30 years. Most recently spending eleven years as General Manager Strategy and Governance at Rocky Bay Ltd, responsible for a broad portfolio of strategy, quality and risk, marketing, technology, research and analytics, project management, governance and legal matters.
An eclectic career has taken Taylor through many opportunities including Monastic Librarian, City Works Coordinator, ICT Manager and Company Secretary, amongst others, across both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. All of which have enabled Taylor’s big picture approach to development and realisation of complex strategy, which she enjoys immensely.
Taylor holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) from Curtin, post graduate management qualifications from Monash and is an AICD member, having completed the Company Directors course.
In her role as General Manager Strategy and Innovation, Taylor leads Wanslea’s Operational Strategy, Business Development, Innovative Initiatives, Marketing, Technology, Research and Transformational Change.
Kaye has proudly served Wanslea as a Board member since December 2014 and is the Chair of the Wanslea Ltd Board.
Kaye has broad industry experience spanning more than 20 years in senior strategic and operational roles in government, not-for-profit and private businesses. She has worked for organisations such as KPMG, Barrington Consulting Group, the Department of Agriculture and Food WA, and HBF. As an experienced executive, Kaye has expertise in strategic planning and execution, financial and risk management, product development and leadership.
In her current role at Curtin University, Kaye is the General Manager responsible for operational and strategic business management in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Kaye focuses on ensuring strategic decisions support the teaching, learning and research capability across the Faculty.
Kaye holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Cath has extensive experience in senior leadership and strategy roles in both the government and not-for profit sectors. She is currently the General Manager of the Westport Program within the WA State Government.
Prior to this, Cath developed and delivered strategic programs and public policy relating to water, the environment, and agriculture. Working in these portfolios led her to a three-year role on the Board of the Rural, Regional and Remote Women’s Network of WA, an organisation of strong, connected and influential women working to create better outcomes for rural, regional and remote people and their communities.
Cath also volunteers with Share the Dignity, a charity that works to make a practical difference in the lives of women experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. Cath has a research background with a Bachelor of Science (Botany and Marine Biology) from James Cook University in North Queensland, followed by a scholarship to carry out postgraduate research on the Mount Isa Mine site.
With 20 years’experience, having previously worked both internationally and in Australia within the public practice environment, Enda has gained significant exposure to, and knowledge of, clients operating in the corporate, government and not-for-profit sector.
Enda is the CEO at Southcare. His role provides overall leadership and direction for Southcare within a culture that is aligned to its vision, mission and values.In his previous role of CFO at Southcare, his extensive experience in areas of auditing, consulting, operational and financial analysis allowed him to provide strategic financial advice and corporate performance reporting. Enda was engaged in leading the digital transformation at Southcare by implementing a program of digital technologies across the organisation.
Enda holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and is a Chartered Accountant. He has completed various leadership courses including Rising Leadership WA, the Engaging Young Leaders Program, McKinsey Executive Leadership Program, Ontological Coaching and AICD Governance Foundations.
Rod has over thirty years of experience in a wide range of senior roles in Financial Services including; banking, treasury, superannuation and funds management. He holds an Associate Diploma in Agriculture, a Bachelor of Finance from Edith Cowan University and a Master of Business Administration from Curtin University.
Rod is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance (AIBF) and a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds in Australia (ASFA). Rod also holds an Australian Credit License and provides finance broking services via the privately owned Ellann Finance.
Carmel joined the Wanslea Early Learning and Development (WELD) Board in 2010 and has actively participated in the many changes that Wanslea has been involved in over the years, becoming Chair of the WELD Board prior to the merge of the two entities into One Wanslea. Carmel is currently a Board member of Wanslea Limited and has had extensive experience within the Childcare Industry and Parenting Support, having worked with the Government in these areas for over 18 years.
Prior to retirement, Carmel managed the Parenting WA Centre and Helpline. Carmel also volunteers with Silverchain Palliative Care Service as a visitor for those people with life-limiting conditions. Carmel holds a Bachelor of Social Service (Children’s Studies) and Certificates in both Drug and Alcohol Counselling and Family Therapy.
Curtis is currently serving as a Non-executive Director of Wanslea Limited, while also a member of the Wanslea Limited Finance Committee. Before joining the Wanslea Limited Board, Curtis was Deputy Chair of Wanslea Early Learning and Development (WELD). With a wealth of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Curtis now holds the position of Project Manager at Brightwater Care Group, where he leads the delivery of strategic infrastructure, HR, and service design projects. Prior to this, Curtis held roles in operations management and active memberships in governance and research committees.
Curtis has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course. He is also an accredited practitioner in project management (PRINCE2) and change management (APMG International).
Kelly joined as a Board Member of the Wanslea Ltd Board February 2024.
Kelly has extensive experience working in strategic and operational senior leadership positions in complex and highly regulated environments such as the aged care and disability sectors, and the WA public health system. As an experienced senior leader, Kelly has expertise in driving strategic direction, governance, financial management and transformation.
In her current role at Brightwater Care Group, Kelly is the Chief Operations Officer overseeing residential aged care, disability and safety and quality and consumer engagement for the organisation. She is focused on ensuring Brightwater’s clients receive safe and quality care and staff work for a supportive employer with a purpose driven culture. She is committed to ensuring Brightwater’s ongoing operational success, growth and financial sustainability.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Melinda comes with an extensive background in the mining and oil and gas sectors. She has held a variety of senior leadership roles in a diverse range of industry’s including resources, health, and higher education. Melinda is currently the Director Health and Safety for Western Australia’s largest university with approximately 8,500 staff and 60,000 students operating across campuses in Western Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius and Dubai.
The main campus in Bentley and is comparable to a small country town in its operations - in addition to teaching facilities, there are shops, restaurants, a hotel, student accommodation, childcare and a sports stadium.
Melinda is a dedicated Health and Safety Leader with 25+ years of experience in creating and implementing safety programs that build culture, understand risks and defective controls, and ensure regulatory compliance. She is passionate about fostering a safety culture that empowers teams to prioritise well-being and achieve operational excellence.
